Summertime, and the weather is lovely...

Sunny days are calling
Please come out and play
To go out cruising you need no reason
You just enjoy the happy season

All you're searching for
Is to have a good time
Laughter rides alongside you
These happy days, they get you through

If the sunshine tells you ''come out and play''
You never ever hesitate
And open up the gate
To wander far, far away

Looking at the bright blue sky
Clouds and rain will pass you by
Because you knwo for sure
Having fun is the cure

Today I was looking through the archives of some of my favourite fashion blogs in Spanish, and I got all summery. (What, do you pay attention in Spanish? No you don't) I was admiring the pretty photograps of skirt and short pants, blue skies, smoothies and brown skin. The little tingling longing for warmer days filled my head, and ever since I've been daydreaming about swimming. I'm just so sick of the snow, the cold and the darkness. I'm sick of HAVING to wear throusers, of slip-free shoes, frozen red ears and dead toes.

Where is the sun?

My summer is:

Green grass and sunny pictures in my grandma's backyard.

Hilarious family gatherings.

Catching blue jellyfish and trying to avoid the red ones, while assuring my cousins that they won't bite.

Water and sand. Everywhere.

Fond memories of Torquay and gorgeous pictures to look at.

Where are the leaves?

Some of my favourite fashion blogs, that both inspire me and chase the boring Geography or Biology (Spanish, English and Social's) lessons away :

A lovely blog about fashion and baking. She has such a beautiful classical style with polkadots and flowery fabrics. The colour red never goes far away in her outfits and it pops.

An American girl with the coolest, funkiest outfits. I could steal half her wardrobe.

A great photographer and stylist with flaming red hair (of which I'm very jealous) and amazing accessories.

A great inspiration, with sometimes classical and sometimes bohemian clothes. Her blog is cool to read, with close descriptions of what she wore and where.

I went shopping today, and I coulnd't help being carried away by the new spring clothes everywhere. I had to remind myself of the fact that I am poor and that there are still some months of coldness left. I stayed strong, bough only stuff on sale and just one flowery skirt.
I'm so proud.
