Find the song and listen!

Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules
Of someone else's game
Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes: and leap!

It's time to try
Defying gravity
I think I'll try
Defying gravity
And you can't pull me down

Wicked - Defying gravity

What do to when bored? Watch Glee!

Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere
A singer in a smoky room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Journey - Don't stop believin'
Thanks. I'm back in my happy self. My parents took my grade with lovely carelessness. Heck, they even claimed it was healthy to get a low grade. Perspective, you name it. I spend my first lesson in the other math class yesterday, and it was fun :) Nice to get to know some new people. So on monday I'm sitting next to Marina again, doing math I actually can do.
Yesterday was overall a great day, with the (kinda late..) New Years ball and being able to sleep at home. Pics? Here. It was so nice, to dance without caring, being with friends, catching up and laughing. Amazing what a night like that can though to your mood. I was able to walk and dance (jump, roll, shake and twirl) all night and my dress stayed, somewhat, clean. Next ball: Thursday! I'll probably be dancing a lot less flamboyant then, with the 450 people and unknown territory, but it'll be great nonetheless.
Now I have to go sleep. ^^
EDIT: I left my computer to go drink some water, but my father was watching a cool film, that I had to see. Now it's 2 o'clock, and I'm finally going to bed. ;)

Is BLÆÆÆH a word?

Some people search for a fountain
That promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them
Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good it would be
With no one to share
With no one who truly cares for me
Alicia Keys - If I ain't got you
Kurt: ''They're going to throw fruit at us. And I just got a facial.''
Glee! My new fav show ^^
So, no blogging yesterday. And why not? Because I forgot my power cable at school. Why did I forget my power cable at school? Because I've been in a horrid mood ever since (insert scary music here) The Grade.
I also made a very elegant fall yesterday. With a big boom on my face, content of wallet... everywhere. Later yesterday I was in such a mood that I took a walk. Just 25 minutes under the stars, kicking the snow. It helped.
I'm semi-poetic today.

It ruined my day.

I'm down. Blue, whatever you call it. I'm just tired and done with it. I got my grade of my maths preliminary exam back, and it stumped me in the earth. I was happy the whole day, but after hearing this horrible grade I just couldn't concentrate. I tried to concentrate on doing my work, but the little black grade was lingring in the back of my head. Poisoning all my thoughts and not letting me think about anything else. Everytime the grade floated back to me, I gulped and tried to swallow it. I'm screwd.
This is the first time I'm actually afraid to tell my parents about my grade. This is so bad, I've never had anything like this on a preliminary exam. They will be disappointed, heck, even the teacher was disappointed....
It's official, I'm a dead woman.

Home is where the heart is, but I came home and found my nerves

First post of 2010!!! :D Happypeppy, this is going to be my year. Just as last year and all the other years since 1993 ;)
On this vacation, I:
- Lost my cellphone. So not typial me :P I looked away, and it was gone. Now I have to survive with this oldie from my parents, but it works and I can call when I get raped or robbed. Suh a happy mood.
- Bought 4 (! o.O OMG!) pairs of shoes. Wait, 3. Lovely grey wanna-be UGG's but then cooler, fake All Stars with black, plastic pattern, waterproof and warm and black, saggy boots with way too white soles, but I'll walk those off. Longest sentence ever?
- Went to see West Side Story!!! :D So much fun and amazing performances from a great cast. It was all in English and sometimes quite difficult to understand, but I know the story so that was okay. My little brother almost fell asleep and my sister was mesmerized. Definitly worth the money and worth doing again.
A little part of the show, when the cast performed at the Duth Musical Awards : Clickyclicky
My favourite song in the musical, performed by the Jets in Tel Aviv (wherever that is) : Officer Krupke
- Spent time with old friends. So cosy and fun, we'll have to do that again ^^
- Had a lovely New Years evening, where I almost choked in the smoke, and where my uncle and nephews gave me firework practice. I'm still super scared by the colourful things, and firing them gives the the creeps, but apperently I have to learn :P
- Ate to much, and I have probably gained a lot of weight, but who cares? I don't belive in trying to change yourself only because a new year has started, so...
- I've grown my nails! About a month ago I stopped biting, and it works. They are beautiful, and I'm proud of myself. I've fallen of the wagon twice, but I'm still going strong ;)
- I've read 3 books, which is not much, but I didn't have much time.
Inkdeath - The last book in one of my favourite triologies and such a pleasure to read everytime. I'm always sad at the end of this book, but it is definitly the best one out of the series.
Becoming Bindy Mackenzie - Great teenage girl drama, with a sharp edge to it and amusing chracters. I can understand teh main character, Bindy (in Dutch Scarlett) and I love the overall ignorence she has for the fact that people do not like her. A must read for every respectable teen-drama fan! ;)
The house at Riverton - I got it for Christmas, and I love it. It just works. The whole P&P like atmosphere is so familiar to me. It was also a murder-mystery, which makes it extra exciting, and the ending is suprising. Very wellwritten, easy to picture. I want to make a movie out of this book!
I'm thinking, enough for today ;)
