First post of 2010!!! :D Happypeppy, this is going to be my year. Just as last year and all the other years since 1993 ;)
On this vacation, I:
- Lost my cellphone. So not typial me :P I looked away, and it was gone. Now I have to survive with this oldie from my parents, but it works and I can call when I get raped or robbed. Suh a happy mood.
- Bought 4 (! o.O OMG!) pairs of shoes. Wait, 3. Lovely grey wanna-be UGG's but then cooler, fake All Stars with black, plastic pattern, waterproof and warm and black, saggy boots with way too white soles, but I'll walk those off. Longest sentence ever?
- Went to see West Side Story!!! :D So much fun and amazing performances from a great cast. It was all in English and sometimes quite difficult to understand, but I know the story so that was okay. My little brother almost fell asleep and my sister was mesmerized. Definitly worth the money and worth doing again.
A little part of the show, when the cast performed at the Duth Musical Awards : Clickyclicky
My favourite song in the musical, performed by the Jets in Tel Aviv (wherever that is) : Officer Krupke
- Spent time with old friends. So cosy and fun, we'll have to do that again ^^
- Had a lovely New Years evening, where I almost choked in the smoke, and where my uncle and nephews gave me firework practice. I'm still super scared by the colourful things, and firing them gives the the creeps, but apperently I have to learn :P
- Ate to much, and I have probably gained a lot of weight, but who cares? I don't belive in trying to change yourself only because a new year has started, so...
- I've grown my nails! About a month ago I stopped biting, and it works. They are beautiful, and I'm proud of myself. I've fallen of the wagon twice, but I'm still going strong ;)
- I've read 3 books, which is not much, but I didn't have much time.
Inkdeath - The last book in one of my favourite triologies and such a pleasure to read everytime. I'm always sad at the end of this book, but it is definitly the best one out of the series.
Becoming Bindy Mackenzie - Great teenage girl drama, with a sharp edge to it and amusing chracters. I can understand teh main character, Bindy (in Dutch Scarlett) and I love the overall ignorence she has for the fact that people do not like her. A must read for every respectable teen-drama fan! ;)
The house at Riverton - I got it for Christmas, and I love it. It just works. The whole P&P like atmosphere is so familiar to me. It was also a murder-mystery, which makes it extra exciting, and the ending is suprising. Very wellwritten, easy to picture. I want to make a movie out of this book!
I'm thinking, enough for today ;)
