Home and Away

Yeah, so, I used to have a roommate who watched this series every day, and, I don’t like it. Not that it was a problem to watch it once in a while, you know, while eating or something, but to follow it? No thanks. I watch a lot of series, a lot of different ones too, but soap series are just silly. They are all sleeping with each other even though most of them are related, and just when you think that one awful bitch died, she comes back as either a ghost or she somehow managed to dig her way back up from the grave. People do also constantly get shot, pregnant and drunk, or all of them at the same time and then die or marry their stepsister’s brother’s daughter/niece or something.
True Blood
Okay, so I watched the first series and kind of liked it, but then I found out that that weird, queasy feeling I got in my stomach each time I saw blood on the show was not really a positive, and that I didn’t like it. It’s to bloody, it’s to SEX-in-your-face and it’s to vampire-y. I do understand why people like it though, I mean, I really liked watching the first series, but it is just too over the top for me. Plus, I’m not a fan of the southern accents, sorry y’all.
The Hills, The Kardashians, everything Tori Spelling, The City, Jersey Shore, Jersey Babes, Brooke Knows Best...
Everything that is friggin’ SCRIPTED and PLANNED and TOTALLY FAKE, involving orange sluts and guys with make-up or botox officially sucks, and really doesn’t deserve my precious time that I can better use, like, studying or working out or something boring. But I still watch it. You know why? Because it is so funny. Unbelievable. I don’t know how they do that over there in the US, but they DO make entertaining bullshit.
