L.I.F.E.G.S.N.O.S.... Aw, bloody hell.

I went shopping.

I bought quite a lot.

I am now poor again. (That’s not true because Norway STILL owes me money! (I get money every month because I’m 18, go to school, but have to live on my own and therefore feed and clothe myself, but the stream of money was temporarily stopped because they suck and apparently I am a foreigner and I should be checked-checked-doublechecked. So now they are behind and OWE me. Pretty nice actually.))
I bought shoes.

I am very happy with my new shoes.
I will now leave you with this very cool song, because that is all I have to say. Plus, I’m busy with looking at my new shoes.

Song is by all means not new, but I like it. Try singing the chorus. I spend about a day struggling with it. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. It’s even hard to type.

I baked on Sunday, and today I will tell you about it.

You guys must have been waiting for this for three days now. That puts a lot of pressure on me.
I bakeeeeed…. Mini Apple Caramel Pies!
YEAH! They were apple pies, with caramel sauce, baked in a MUFFIN TIN. !!!.
It looked like this. (Picture is linked, because I don’t take photo’s like that.)

They were delicious! Apple-y and caramel-y and super-duper cute, because of their size. They took quite a lot of work, but were so rewarding! And the pie-dough is very easy, even I had no problem with it, and I usually eff up pie dough. Anyways, here are the links; recipe, caramel sauce. I changed the recipe of course, so if you want my recipe, Norwegian-style, ask me.
You really wanna see mine don’t you?
I will now introduce you to a very creative idea. You see, I bought this new computer (A NEW computer.) but  the pretty new computer didn’t have Bluetooth. I didn’t care at the time. But I’ve realized something now. I NEED Bluetooth. Bluetooth is amazing. NOT having Bluetooth is annoying and just makes my life seem pointless. Seriously. Acer. Don’t forget the Bluetooth next time.
So because I wanted to get a picture of my own before the big webcam photoshoot extravaganza in Førde, I took a picture on my phone. Which I now can’t, because of the lack of Bluetooth, upload to my computer. I don’t have any cables. I had one once, but it is gone. Lost in the clutter. Because you know, I’ve never needed a cable. I had BLUETOOTH.
So here is me taking a picture of my phone with a picture of my cupcake sized apple pie with my webcam, and now posting it on my blog.

Doesn’t it BLOW YOUR MIND?
I brought three mini’s with me to Førde, but sadly I didn’t get t take WEBCAM PICTURES (WITH MY NEW COMPUTER. Yeah, still happy about that.)  with them. Two didn’t even survive the trip (yumyum, ahem.) and the third looked so horribly mangled when we arrived here, the poor thing was not fit for a photoshoot. It was, however, fit for eating.

Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake.

Today is Marieke bakery-time! Seriously, apart from the dry, kind of fail chocolate/coconut buns last week, I haven’t baked in at least two months. Oh em gee. So I managed to find back my lovely archive on this computer and picked something to bake. Update will come later.
I must say that I tend to bake things that look poisonous…..

What can I say? I like my food colouring.

Sara Ramiiiiiiiireeeeez

Okay, so I have this video to share with you. You know Grey’s Anatomy? A lot of people love the show, but I just never cared enough to properly check it out. I’ve seen clips, flashes but the actress playing the main character, Meredith Grey, freaks me out. I’ve started to put her and Blake Lively in the same category, namely the one of actresses-that-annoy-me-just-because-of-the-way-they-talk. Anyways the show is broadcasted every Tuesday here in Norway Land of the Vikings, and that means that my facebook is spammed every Tuesday night by an endless stream of Grey’s related status updates. Which doesn’t necessary bother me, you know, with my crazy tick of wanting to know every little detail of everything broadcasted. But this this Tuesday things were a bit different. The statuses were different. Apparently Grey’s was doing a musical episode and everybody was HATING ON IT. With capital letters and many exclamation marks. I love musical episodes, so I did my usual solve-questions-thing of googling, youtubing and Wikipedia-ing. The episode was kind of sappy and weird, but I thought that the pretty lady playing Callie (the lesbian who is apparently together with someone called, and this is serious, Arizona. Stupidest name ever.) seemed to have an awesome singing voice. And that’s when I came across this video.

It’s gorgeous. The woman can SING. This particular bit may not totally be totally in tune, (SHUT UP WORD, I MEANT TO REPEAT THAT WORD!) but you can see that she loves it and that’s just amazing. Sara Ramirez once won a Tony for the musical Spamalot and she is now on my favourites which is a great honour, to be honest.
Here is the clean version from the show. It even made ME almost cry.

Things changed and stuff went down part 2

I forgot that I’d started blogging again. Okay so now I’m going to talk about my life. Prepare to be amused.
So I had this big exam last week to change the grade I got two years ago. The subject was science. I hate science. I don’t get it. I guess I kind of have to see things to believe them, and the fact that our body consists out of millions of cells that all split up and copy themselves is just unbelievable to me. And therefore utterly uninteresting. I had two months to learn all the stuff again. Needless to say; I kind of pushed it ahead of me for 1 and half month, then freaked and became obsessed for two weeks. I didn’t go to the gym (They texted me. Apparently they were concerned I was dead and wouldn’t be able to pay this month’s fee.), I was an anti-social witch and I ignored my other schoolwork. The work I didn’t ignore, I half-assed my way out off. Then the day of doom came. Two months of worrying would finally end and my grade would be improved. I hoped. It went horrible. I ‘’I don’t know’’-ed my way through the questions with violently shaking hands and a quivering voice. When I got out of the examination room I was close to crying. The people at school were amazing, all so nice, and faithful and so positive that it could cure cancer. Then I had to go back in to get my grade. It wasn’t the WORST, but it certainly didn’t live up to my expectations/dreams/(standard). My average is now a bit higher, still not high enough, but that just means that I have to kick some butt in my other subjects. Or bake many teachers many cupcakes.
I will now show you a picture of Britney and Justin in denim clothes.
Hottttttt
It is winter all of the sudden! Norway is terribly unpredictable. Last year it snowed from October till March, this year it is freezing cold, but still ‘dry.’’ Weather I love in other words.  Not liking the slipperiness though and I guess the time has come for my first fall on the icy earth. Yikes.
I’ve been 18 for more than two months now, and I haven’t legally bought a drink in a bar yet. Last time we went out I forgot, and suddenly it was 3 o’clock and we were kicked out. That’s quite depressing.
I have however ‘’tended the bar’’ (Google let me down because I can’t find any word for it…) at my parents hotel! I now know how to properly tap a beer. With foam and everything. Yay for me.
There’s probably a lot more, but I think we can safely conclude from this list that my life is…. Not that exciting. And that nothing really happened. But the month flew past anyways. It is almost Christmas now. This post is getting awkward. I have to go now. Figure out how dailybooth works again. More about that later. Okay. I’m going to go now. Bye…. :)

Things changed and stuff went down

First; Pictures.

My hands do not really look like that. I do not have pigs feet hands. I do not have pigs feet hands. I do not. At all.

Yeah, that’s right, I got myself a new computer! With webcam! Weeheee! And I’ve already ordered a new Gelaskin!  I really recommend Gelaskins of you are looking for protection for your phone/I-pod/I-pad/laptop. They come in awesome designs, last forever (talking from experience here), are re-useable and with the economy as it is in the States today, are super-cheapo for us Europeans!
Well, as you can see, my face has not changed these last 36 days. My hair is however back to its boring light brown self. Maybe I’ll go a bit blonder next. Trying to get that Adele-vibe. Haven’t got the pipes, so I’ll try the hair instead.
