I love Google Image!

As I sit here alone
Been sleeping with the light on
And I think to myself
Mankind has got it wrong
And i know in my mind
If tomorrow never comes
We must all join hands as one

Join hands and unite
The futures looking bright
I hear it in the lyrics of the music that I write
We can bring this dream together
You know it's worth the fight
Let's stand as one throughout the world
And I know this time we'll get it right

I don't sweat, I glisten...

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain
He was looking for a place called Lee Ho Fook's
Going to get himself a big dish of beef chow mein
Werewolves of London

If you hear him howling around your kitchen door
Better not let him in
Little old lady got mutilated late last night
Werewolves of London again

Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London

So I went to the gym today. For the first time ever. I was kind of nervous, but luckily I had my roommate to rely upon and my athletic figure (lol). So what was there to be nervous about? I'm a 16 year old girl. A lot. Gyms give me a anorexianervosacompulsiveovereatingbingeeatingdisorderbulimianervosa-phobia. *pause for applause* I will never get an eating dissorder. I like cupcakes to much.

Helga had brought a classmate who was kind off cute. That didn't make me feel better. So I walked in. they made us go up three stairs first. Warm-up. I got one free hour, changed and climbed next to Helga on a scary looking machine:

Not that bad. But it took me about 10 minutes to figure the damn thing out. And with the person next to me muffling a smile under their hand at the sight of me, I kind of got discouraged. When I got going it was fun. I got awfully sweaty and red in my face, but I always get like that. the fun thing was that there were many people like that, so I didn't really care. Something to do again. Next week I want to try out the other gym with Anne Marte. I have to choose :P

I'm stripping off, I'm stripping off for you....

This is such a great video! Some people are so genius. I'm jealous.

What are you doing now? I'm watching an old episode of Shouf shouf! de serie while packing my bag to go to the gym with Helga tomorrow and trying to decide what subject to choose for next year, I'm drawn between Communication and Culture and Sociology and Social anthropology.

New idea: Tell what I'm doing in one sentence. Creative I know :D

If you can't beat your computer in chess, try kickboxing

You think your right
But you were wrong
You tried to take me
But I kenw all along
You can take me
For a ride
I'm not a fool out
So you better rund and hide

I'm trouble
Yeah, trouble now
I'm trouble ya'll
I got trouble in my town
I'm trouble
Yeah, trouble now
I'm trouble ya'll
I got trouble in my town

My foot is asleep. Boo.

So I woke up today. I realized that nothing had woken me up. No alarm, no phonecall, not even my roommate knocking on my door. I looked at my cellphone. Can you guess what it said? No? 07.40 to be exactly. That is 10 minutes before I have to leave and catch my bus. 10 minutes, baby, 10 minutes! Which means... stress!! But I handled it very gracefully, and when I was done I had 7 minutes left. That's not enough so I was planning on running and try not to fall in the snow. I opened the door and... Rain! Huge drops of rain were falling down. I was like, what the heck, I have to catch the bus, I'm running. After a few steps I realized that I was walking through water. My shoes got soaked, my backpack wet and my hat, that I had forced on my head instead of looking for an umbrella, and I felt like an elephant running though the streets.

You see, the thing is, it's always nice when the temperature goes down. But clean white snow gets transformed to a brown, slushie-like, watery shit that penetrates your innocent all stars and starts the horrible task of freezing your toes to death. When I finally got to school, my socks were so wet and I just had to kick my shoes off. But I was not the only one, because I saw many students walking around on bare feet or socks.

...

I didn't have a point, sorry. Maybe tomorrow. I just felt like complaining.

EDIT: I did have a point! Or at least something else to talk about. Guess what we had i PE yesterday! KICKBOXING! I was kind of sceptical, but it was fun ^^ We got to hit eachother and kick eachother and laugh while doing it. We had gloves and pillow-thingies, but it was great nonetheless... The teacher even said that I had a lot of force in my legs. LOL. I guess all those years of football were good for something.

25 things I want to do before I die

I don't believe in New Years resolutions. Not even a little bit. Why try to better your life just because we're entering a new year? Try to better your life everyday. ''Be the change you want to see in the world.'' Mahatma Ghandi? I think so. Anyway, I do believe in resolutions. And I think that a list of things you want to do before you die is a part of that. So here you go.

25 things I want to do before I die.
  1. Learn how to tap dance.
  2. Travel alone.
  3. Visit Disneyland Paris.
  4. Take a trip in a hot air balloon.
  5. Complete a Star Wars marathon.
  6. Visit Rome and the Vatican and walk in the footsteps of Robert Langdon in Angels and Demons.
  7. Learn how to talk 6 languages fluently. Dutch, Norwegian, English, German, Spanish and French.
  8. Gamble in Las Vegas.
  9. Carve my name in a tree in Central Park
  10. Walk on the Great Wall of China.
  11. Sing karaoke, publicly.
  12. Meet Cornelia Funke.
  13. Make a proper music video to Neopolitan Dreams from Lisa Mitchell and Dancing with Myself from Generation X and post them on YouTube.
  14. Live in a nunnery for a while to figure out why people believe so strongly.
  15. Visit every continent.
  16. Host a chocolate party.
  17. Buy unbelievable high heels and walk in them for a whole evening.
  18. Get high.
  19. Spend time helping out in a poor country.
  20. Go to the Harry Potter amusement park in Orlando, USA.
  21. Live in London.
  22. Be able to make a proper creme brulee.
  23. Buy a 60's dress and pretend to be Tracy Turnblad for a day.
  24. By a bum a cup of hot chocolate and ask them about their lives story.
  25. Make my own Christmas cards and send them out.
Tonight in bed I'll probably come up with 10 more and disagree with myself on half of these, but I don't care. These are the things I want to accomplish right now. On 24. January 2010 at 10.09 in the evening while sitting in the living room at home.

Take care.

My eyes hurt...

He is like fire, burning through time
As old as forever, but fast in his prime
I saw his blue spaceship materialize
He looked out and said to me ''Run for your life!''

It's completely terrifying, but it's so so exciting
He said I was brilliant and I could change the world
So many places I've been, there's so much more to see
We've got galaxies and planets and moons
And an awful lot of running to do

I had so much fun last night! I laughed so much that I almost peed my pants, my jaws were sore and my tsomach muscles were aching. It was really nice to hang out with everybody outside of school. So my suggestion is to do this more often ^^

The lovely Alise with straw <3 So we met up at the pizza place at 8 o'clock and ate. The staff had blown up helium balloons and they had a pizza with firework on top and they had decorated the room with garlands. It was genius. We made weird voices with the helium and I even took up some balloons to Selvi's place. There I forgot them, of course.

Martin ^^ No pics of the birthday girl, sorry, she doesn't like her pics on the internet. Even though I put my face everywhere I can understand it. I'm so nice :D Everybody was really phsyched up even though there was no alcohol present, which is a good thing. I don't really change when I drink, so that was fine by me.

When we got up to Selvi's everybody was just talking and laughing and eating and drinking things filled with sugar... Yay! Around 12 o'clock people had to leave, you know Norway, long distances, and we ended up with five people and a interesting discussion about alcohol ^^ Demonstrations with cups and everything. That was fun :P I think I was home around 1.30...

I absolutely love this picture, even though it is weird. Someone stabbed my piece of lime with a paper umbrella :P Those are my fingers...
This morning I was planning on taking an early bus, but I was so tired, that I took one 2 hours later instead...  here at home I ran into Arild, and we spent some time talking and drinking hot chocolate ^^

Right now my eyes are burning with tiredness, so I think that I'm going to sleep.

All the pictures here.

It's finally 2010!! Wait, that's not right...

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun, in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
And you can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields in gold

Eva Cassidy/U2 - Fields of Gold

I've had that song in my head ever since yesterday evening, but now it finally got out. I hope. No. Stupid brains. They can't remember the photosynthesis or solve a advance maths problem, but a stupid song will repeat itself forever. WITH ALL THE WORDS!

New Years ball yesterday! Was really, really fun! I was kind of nervous, but Anne Marte and Selvi came over before to get ourselves pretty and then we took a cab down. Snow and heels for half an hour down a gigantic mountain? Nah. I danced and talked and drank orange soda and had a cherry face (just like always) and danced some more and had sore feet and lost my cellphone and... Yeah, lost the cellphone I borrowed from my parents -.- I think it is a curse.

This was last week. There were strict rules at the ball, so I didn't bother to walk around with my camera all night. But some other people took pictures though, so I'll probably post them sometimes ;)
But anyways it was fun, I met some new people and I'm definitly going next year :) The music wasn't that good though, it was either Norwegian country or dark, ''bonking'' music. But sometimes I think that dancing to bad music is the best.

Tonight we're going with about 10 people to the pizza place to celebrate Selvi's 18th birthday last week. I finally saw her place today. Geez, that has taken a long time ^^ I have to leave in an hour, so I have find my stuff and get ready...

I laugh.

You know how teachers want us to stump those stupid dates and placenames in our heads. Well, I've hot enough. So here are some useless facts to impress your teacher with next lesson. Remember or forget them, I don't care, but what I do know is that they are amazing ;)
  • Coca-Cola would be green is colouring weren't added to it. (So delicious...)
  • A cockroach can live several weeks with its head cut off.
  • Beetles taste like apples, wasps like pine nuts and worms like fried bacon.
  • There is a city called Rome on every continent.
  • It's against the law to burp or sneeze in a church in Nebraska, USA. (Jezus Christ how pathetic can you get?)
  • Like fingerprints, everyone's tongue print is different. (Ew, ink on my tongue)
  • Slugs have 4 noses.
  • Women blink nearly twice as much as men.
  • Donald Duck comics were banned from Finland because he doesn't wear pants.
  • Because metal was scarce, the Oscars given out during World War Two were made out of wood.
  • Long ago, the people of Nicaragua (Where the heck is that?!) believed that if they threw beautiful young women into a vulcano it would stop erupting.
  • In France there is a doughnut called ''Nun's Fart.''
  • Over 350 million M&M's are produced every year.
  • The average four year-old child asks over four hundred questions a day. (o.O)
  • In new York City, about 1,600 people are bitten by other humans every year. (Haha, Twilight fever much?)

I love useless facts.

The Sony Ericsson T707

Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has everything

I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
I've got whozits and whatzits galore
You want thingamabobs
I've got twenty!
But who cares?
No big deal
I want more

The little mermais (LOL) - Part of your world

I've been mobile phone shopping today. I think that I want a Sony Ericsson, one of those slidey-thingies. But i couldn't find one I liked, the only one I liked was the one I had before, the one I lost, all they others were just ugly. But then I saw this one

Yes, it is a combshell. I always want to break combshells. But this one is pretty ^^ It comes in blue, pink and black. I want blue. It is sleek and thin, but I'm afraid to break it. It's got all the functions I want, but it is about 2 thousand kroner. Which is not that much and I really don't want to pay more. But I'll read more reviews and maybe I'll buy it next week.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow :) We'll have some kind of gathering at someones house before the New Years Ball. I hope it will be fun... Now I'm unsure what to do. Watch another movie? Or read. Or watch tv. Or sleep. Teenage life is hard.
