Recommendation of the Week

Cookies!

Hiii :) Here is a really good recipe for cookies. It is easy and fast to make, and it only has to go in the oven for 20 minutes. With the basisrecipe you can do everything :D Just find whatever you have in your kitchen and mix it in. I made a batch today, I originally wanted to make hazelnut-chocolate, but we didn't have any nuts so I made coconut-chocolate ^^ Or is coconut a nut too? :P


Aaaargh, I tried to update a picture, but my computer is acting weird, and I'm to tired to try to do something about it :P I'll post the picture tomorrow.

400 gram flour

250 gram butter

100 gram sugar

little bit salt

1 egg

Preheat the oven to 180C. Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl. You can add some milk if the dough doesn't stick together ;) Mix in the ingredients that you want in your cookies (chocolate, all kinds of nuts, whatever you want ^^) Form about 14 small balls and press them flat on a ''ovenboard'' I'm to lazy to get a dictionary :P

Put them for circa 20 minutes in the oven, until golden brown.

Work, work, work

Hello :)

I'm really supposed to be working, but there is nothing to do :P For your information, I work at a kind of snackbar thingie, so I smells like fries every time I'm done :P It is quite fun, but only when it's busy. Now it's just boooring.

Today we had our preliminary (Worst word ever!) exam in bokmål. I liked the tasks, so I finished early. I hope that my grammer doesn't suck, like it normally does, since I spent about an hour correcting and checking every word o.O Thats a lot.

Lets see... What else can I tell you? Well, yeah, I'm going skiing tomorrow, with a group from my school. I'm looking forward to it, even though I'm not the best skiier :) I'm afraid that all those Norwegians are perfect skiiers, but according to my brother that's not true. He skiis apperently better than some of them, and I'm on his level, so perhaps I'm gonna be alright. We'll see :) Ow, and btw, we are leaving tomorrow at 8 or something, which is inhuman! Waking up 7 o'clock at a Saturday o.O That can't be normal :P

That's about everything for now :) I'll post how the skiiing went tomorrow ;) Well, if I'm not dead... :O

As I once said; Bloggs without pictures are boring, so here is a gorgeous picture I saw somewhere... Watch and try not to drool on you typingthing :P What the heck is that called???

Btw, it took me like forever to write this post, and not just because some guy wanted a hamburger and a bunch of people wanted kebab, because my K button is all fucked up :@ I have to press much harder on that one than on they other buttons. Annoying....

My new idea a.k.a The Recommendation of the Week

Hii, here I am again :D As I was saying, I had an idea! It hurted a little, but I survived ;) Btw, you have to get used to my crazy sense of humor :) There are few people who completely understand it xD

Anyway, you know how many bloggers have something that they blog about every week? Like a quote or a fashion tip? Well, I thought, that I could recommend a book or a movie or... Yeah, it's my blogg so anything I like really :P I'll post a picture, my opinion and maybe where you can get some information about the item :) Haha, I said item :P Sorry, private joke, those of you who get it, will laugh ;)

I looked through my DVD's to see what movie I would recommend. This is the result:

Big Fish

So, who knows this amazing movie? I hope quite a few of you :) I saw it a few summers ago, with my cousin, who then had to explain some things to me. It was true love. Between me and the movie, not me and my cousin :P

''The story is about the struggle of Will Bloom (Billy Crudup) to try to come to terms with his dying father (Albert Finney). Having not talked to each other for nearly three years, Will returns home to be with his family as his father slowly dies from cancer. While there, Will struggles to learn the truth from his father, a masterful teller of tall tales. Will, filled with anger, feels that the stories his father told him about his life are lies and tries to learn the truth about his father’s life. On the way, we see masterfully done stories filled with the stuff of fairytales.''

That is the story in a nutshell, copied from some website :P The movie is truly fantastastic. The director is Tim Burton, who makes, after my opinion, such fairy tale like movies that he must be some kind of wizard xD Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride and he produced The Nightmare before Christmas. The man is a genius^^

But, anyway, you may ask, why is this a good movie? Because of the fairytale elements. It is so beautifully filmed and told, that I actually believe some of the stories Wills father, Edward Bloom, tells. Or, I want to believe them :) The movie has also some great comedy in it, next to a romantic story about Edward and his girl and Will and his pregnant wife. All of the ingredients of a good movie. So I say: Watch the movie and tell me your opinion :D Ow, and Ewan McGregor plays a large part in the movie, the part of younger Edward :) I absolutely adore that actor!

Hello :)

My day has been quite boring. I woke up all nauseous and it took not long before I realized that I cound't make it to school today. And today I was actually looking forward to school since we are watching the first Lord of the Rings movie in Norwegian class :P But, yeah, I threw up around 4 times today, which, of course, sucked :) No I'm fine, I've eaten som bread, so I'm just going to school tomorrow.


My parents got annoyed when I was still reading and doing nothing around 5 o'clock, so my mother asked me if I could fold some laundry. I quite liked doing that, since I could watch some of those afternoon-comedies that I never watch anymore ^^ And I actually gor to fold the whole bunch :) Later my father asked if I could help him put together some new IKEA cabins, so I gave that a try. Lets just say that I can't handle a electric screwdriver :P Now my father is watching
the Dutch news, and I'm gonna start on my homework soon :)

I love that show! It's so funny :D I really like how none of the main characters are romanticly involved. Thats so unlike Friends, and, although I love Friends too I find this slightly more realaxed :) Well, anyway, I'm sure everyone knows this show, and I hope that you like it too :D

A supercool blogg, where people send there secrets, without their name and stuff, on the back of postcards. This is so cool, because people really send beautiful pictures and drawings with emotional secrets on them ^^ I love it because I can really recognize my self in them :)

Hi! I don't know who you are and where and when you read this, but this is my first official post on my new blog. I've had some blogs before, but I was never serious. This time I am :)
I'm not going to post about some subject in particular, because I don't know anything about fashion, make-up or.. Yeah, what else do the popular bloggs post about? I'm gonna tell you guys (or myself, perhaps ;) ) about stuff that interest me. I'm a huge book and movie addict, so... :) Further will I blogg about the little things that give me pleasure in live. God, that sounds philosofical :P
